Faith, Family, & Freedom Celebration

The Andersen Family enjoyed a night at the Charlotte Knight's Stadium for the Faith, Family, and Freedom celebration. It was so much fun!! It included tailgating in the parking lot and inflatables and games for the kids followed by a concert of Christian artists, Natalie Grant, Matthew West, and Pure NRG, and then a fireworks show. We had a great time!! The kids just after we arrived for our afternoon and evening of fun!
We found a little picnic spot just outside the stadium. (Uh oh--Mom forgot to pack the blanket! Oops!)

Ready for the games and inflatables!!

Zane loved the obstacle course.

What celebration would be complete without some spray-painted hair???

You can see Michaela sporting the red-streak. Olivia actually had some blue, but it did not show up very well in her dark hair.
We found our seats and we are waiting for the concert to begin! Boy, was it hot!!

Can you tell Zane loves to have his picture taken? He is just so cute!!

Michaela and Nate after the sun went down. It's cooled off a bit.

Zane and Olivia having a great time.

Doing the wave!!
It was so great to be in a stadium packed with believers worshipping our Lord and sharing that experience with the kids. The artists were awesome and the fireworks at the end were fantastic. It was just a great time!!

  1. Beautiful pics! I'm so glad you have this blog to keep us updated.

We are almost home. Thanks for all your prayers the past six days. We have traveled 2,400 miles so far with one more day to go. The Lord has certainly kept his hand on us this trip. The Mojave Desert was HOT!! I'll be posting pics of the trip on my blog when I get home.

    Love GJ
